Title:

What kind of flowers are good to plant during the summer?

Lately I’ve been at home bored when I’m not at work and I want something to do to keep my occupied, so I was thinking of planting some flowers. What kind of flowers are good to plant during the summer months (considering the hot weather and such). I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth are of Texas if that helps. They will be in the shade of a tree but at some point during the day might get direct sunlight. I want colorful flowers but am not sure which will work… Thanks!

Impatiens are good, they like shade but can tolerate some sun also. They come in many colors.

Lantana likes dry hot weather and it will come back next year but it needs a little more sun.

you can simply use the search companion to find all files containing the words ''copy of'' in a specified folder. Once found, you have several options: either compare the photos with the originals (use thumbnail view to help out) to make sure you delete duplicates only, or just select them all and delete then straight from the search window. Make sure you look through them a little, though. You don't ant to delete something else by mistake.

The point is the larger the antenna, the greater the PD between one end and the other by the electric field vector of the pulse. Hence, the larger the current that flows through the wire. There are ways around this if you know a geomagnetic storm is coming (which we do now), and grids can be designed to shut down relatively orderly and come back on line relatively quickly, by limiting the distance that any one stretch of transmission line may span before it goes into switching.

Not a place for it during worship. It 's OK in my opinion after a baptism, but not during. During VBS, I have no preference or opinion. Now as to why, one word, reverence. There are times when reverence is called for and times it's not. During worship and a baptism it's called for, after a baptism is the time to celebrate. As for VBS, most of the time reverence is not called for.

I haven't read the book but it seems you have pretty much answered your own question.
"Freedom from" means that you are free from oppression, worry, anxiety, pain, hunger, etc.,while "freedom to" means that you are free to do as you please, or as you wish,or as you think or as you feel.
Sounds like a good book.It obviously made you think about the meaning of "Freedom."
"Freedom", of course, does not mean "license", as in the right to do whatever you want even though it might be hurtful or destructive to someone/something else!

I didn’t say it was great compared to other places. Their salaries aren’t very good, but they spend more than they make. Not to mention, moving to Greece means you’d have to learn Greek. I’d love to live and work on one of their summer resort islands, but I just can’t be bothered with a language that different from my own.

It is with sadness and longing that I look at the pixilated image of the plant that so resembles the plant on http://www.ParentCoachingInstitute.org where we infuse a much needed living system paradigm into family support in the modern world. I like our plant image better! Neither pixels nor pictures or screen content for that matter can satisfy desires of living things–humans being in the category of living things–at least for now.

The alkenones are produced by planktonic algae that grow in summer in the photic zone. This uppermost part of the ocean warms strongly in summer.
In this area, most of the forams are living in sub-surface water, perhaps 100-150 m deep. This is below the seasonal thermocline, and so does not warm in summer. The temperature at this depth is set during overturn in winter.
As the two proxies are sensitive to the temperature at different times of year, they can show different trends if summer and winter temperatures don't have the same trend.

Sounds like you are talking about Peace lily (Spathiphyllum sp.)..

Keep it up away from your kitten they can be toxic.
I have a cat. and 5 of these plants..before I knew they were toxic. My cat doesn't bother them. Some cats will eat your house plants and some don't.

Here is a site with a list of plants.

A list of both safe and harmful

I’d like to understand the mindset of people who spread false rumors. It’s as if some people are expecting or even hoping for disaster. Are some people addicted to fear, in the same way that hate radio listeners seem to be addicted to anger? That could explain the popularity of “thrillers,” most of which I find to be lame and/or repugnant.

    Flowers: Les/des fleurs (feminine)
    –This is pronounced "flurs"

    Pillows: Les/des/L'oreiller[s] (masculine)
–Pronounced "oh-ray-ay", but with that French-like trill on the R.

    Rubber: Le caoutchouc (masculine)
    –Pronounced like "cow-shook"
